I have come to realize that understanding what truly matters to me is not as easy as it may seem.

What we value can change depending on our environment and the situation we are in at the time. It can also be influenced by our patterns of thinking and the way we have made decisions in the past.

Even though it is supposed to be about what matters “to me,” there are many moments when I cannot make decisions based on emotions alone. In fact, there may be more situations where I need to take a step back and look at things objectively.

In that process, I sometimes feel lost. There are moments when I have to stand firm, even when I do not feel fully convinced.

Still, something I have been thinking about recently is that what truly matters to me may not leave me so easily. I do not always need to force myself to hold on to things. What is meant to remain will remain. On the other hand, some things may leave, no matter how strongly I try to keep them close.

Right now, I am facing the difficulty of moving forward while still feeling uncertain.

But I hope that one day, I will be able to look back and see this experience as something I needed to learn from.
