SOPHOLA, Inc. (Headquarters: Azumino, Nagano; Representative Director: Masaki Iino) is pleased to announce the launch of Jonen Peakworks, a new mountain brand. From Azumino, at the foot of Mt. Jonen in the Northern Japan Alps, we will bring hikers food and gear made with carefully selected Shinshu ingredients, products not yet available anywhere on the market. Through each and every one of them, we aim to help protect the future of the mountains.

The brand’s online store is scheduled to open on October 1, 2026. Our first products are two retort-pouch curries that combine premium Shinshu ingredients with nutrition designed for mountain trips: “Curry by Mountaineers, for Mountaineers” and “Keema Curry by Mountaineers, for Mountaineers.” They were co-developed with local partners, with nutritional supervision by the Department of Health and Nutrition, Faculty of Human Health, Matsumoto University, and manufacturing by CEFCO Co., Ltd. of Azumino. Pre-sales will begin on Makuake on November 5, 2026.
